Shakshi Lalithraj is a HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist with clinical expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports injury management. She currently practices at Longfield Polyclinic, where she delivers evidence-based physiotherapy for a wide range of conditions and leads weekly group exercise sessions for older adults focused on strength, balance, and mobility.
Shakshi completed her Master’s in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Leeds Beckett University in 2024, following her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Sree Balaji College, India, in 2022. Her professional background includes experience in both outpatient clinics and sports environments across India and the UK.
Prior to relocating to the UK, she served as Chief Physiotherapist at a multidisciplinary clinic in Chennai, providing care for orthopaedic, neurological, and paediatric patients. She also completed a clinical observership at a cancer rehabilitation centre, where she contributed to pre and post-surgical recovery programmes and patient education.
In the UK, she has supported pitch-side care and acute injury management at Burton Albion Football Club, working closely with athletes in a competitive setting. She is also involved in academic and clinical support roles within football-based physiotherapy settings.
Shakshi is trained in a range of manual therapy techniques and adjunct therapies, including Mulligan mobilisation, dry needling, and kinesiology taping. Her approach is patient-centred, combining hands-on techniques with tailored exercise programmes to help individuals return to pain-free function.
