Gaynor has been a practitioner of Complementary Therapies for 21 years and is a highly experienced Massage Therapist and Reflexologist with a background in Pilates and Yoga teaching. She first qualified as a Massage Therapist in 1994, studying with the Massage Training Institute and proceeded to work for the Complementary Health Trust extensively throughout London treating people with HIV and cancer, eventually specialising in hospice work and palliative care. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospice for 13 years and at Ellenor Hospice in Northfleet for ten.
In 2009 Gaynor trained in Reflexology with Renee Tanner who is preeminent in her field and in 2011 re-trained in Massage with the NO HANDS Massage company, using mainly forearms to deliver deep but gentle massage strokes to her clients. Gaynor also uses Reiki or Aromatherapy where requested.
Gaynor attends regular supervision groups for her work and is a registered practitioner with the Massage Training Institute Practitioner Association, undertaking the required hours of professional development each year.
